Every year on August 1st shares are available to be purchased in Classiebawn Stud's well bred fillies. Michael Stratford, the stud owner personally retains a share in all the horses and there are up to five other shares available in a particular Filly.

For example, a 25% share in a Classiebawn Filly is equal to $80/week for an average years training. All horses are trained by renowned local trainers Bruce Negus or Tim Butt.
